Two Sessions of AAMC Early Career Women Faculty Leadership Development Seminar Offered with a St. Louis Option

Early Career Women in Faculty Leadership Development Seminar

Now offering two sessions! Demand for the Early Career Women Faculty Leadership Development Seminar has continued to grow year after year, and we are pleased to announce that we will offer two sessions of this highly sought after seminar in 2019 to expand participation.

The AAMC is committed to supporting women faculty in their career development. Previous studies have shown that women continue to be less likely to receive tenure than men and to be underrepresented in higher faculty ranks and leadership positions. This early career Seminar is designed to provide women faculty members at the assistant professor level with the skills and knowledge necessary for advancing their careers in academic medicine and science.
